open downpipe vs full exhaust...

has anyone else noticed that after running open downpipe, youve experienced a serious loss of power if you put the exhaust back on? i knew there was some loss of power due to the restriction on the turbo, but it is for some reason a substantial difference...

is it THAT much of a difference? i could swear it feels like it pulled when it ran 13's as opposed to 12s at low boost...

i guess i should have posted this in forced induction....but i suppose it might affect N/A cars as well...
