First things first.

These rules will be constantly evolving. They can change as we (the mod team) see fit. As all of you know, we are endeavoring to loosen the rules up a little bit. Not to the point that this forum becomes over run with new products, but we're going to give a little more breathing room. This ONLY applies in the drag racing forum. However, if we can make it work effectively in here, it will make it's way across all the tech forums. It's up to you guys to see that this works.

Only paid vendors will be allowed to partake in these rules. Anyone who is not a paid vendor must PM me first to see if we can allow a post from them to go up, and stay.

Enough rambling from me, here's the rules

Guidelines to threads in the following areas:

-Drag Racing

Threads MUST include:
-relevant technical information (No threads just showing pics will be allowed)

Threads may include:
-Product development information (specs/testing)
-Sharing tuning tricks, methods, technical cautions, and warnings
-Pictures or videos
-Link to appropriately placed announcement or for sale thread

Threads must NOT include:
-Prices
-Sale pitch against other vendors
-Links to online store or emails to place orders

The idea here is to give your information from a non-selling perspective. Give members a chance to digest the information and compare it to similar products. Any thread that turns into a vendor flame war will be closed. Rather than argue with other vendors or members, stick to the facts and advantages of the product.

You must refrain from answering sales related question. Either comment to a member to PM you for more info or link them to a thread where purchasing information is provided. If a price is discussed, the thread will be moved. It's that simple.



Starting with a clean slate, all vendors will be expected to follow this guideline. If you fail to adhere then you will be given one warning.
