No, SFWD has a limit of 72mm. They threw the 67mm guys into the SFWD class and changed the FIS class to a 62mm limit.

On his leak down tester you hook up to a compressor adjust the % guage to zero then you hook up to the cylinder....hat is the psi it happens to be at when setting the % side to zero. All write ups and other videos that use this same leak down tester had the same pressure when testing....so I hope it is an accurate reading.

Here is a little short video my good friend Kenny put together of my car going to T1 for my tune! Also check out some of his other videos he has made of Team Neu Impact at several IFO events. Enjoy!

Re: Neu Impact:(The Midori Story) pics/vid.
Have a lot of updates and pics to continue this story.
-Car wen to chassis shop to get NHRA certified 10pt chromly roll cage, window net and paachute mount!
-Pulled the tranny apard AGAIN and replaced the much needed set of syncros and replaced the chewed up 1st and 2nd gear on the counter shaft!
-Notched and welded the dash to be able to fit around the roll cage!
-Went to Import Face Off Wichita, Kansas 2014 in hopes to get a few good passes and log some data. The car has electrical issues i believe somewhere, the car would hardly do a burnout and it fell on its face around 5,000 rpm in every gear. Unfortunatly i did not get any clean passes at all, it just made it down the track and thats about all it did.
-On a good note I got really LUCKY and 1st place in SFWD!!! The first car I lined up against caught a red light...and the second car dropped an exhaust valve in the finals during his burnout....there for I won!! (Not the way I wanted to win at all) but hey its a start and ill take it haha.
Headed to chassis shop!
My new head gear!
Roll Cage pics!
My dog repping one of our Neu Impact shirts haha!

That harbor freight leak down tester doesn't work..... It will only read around 13psi on the left even if your tank pressure is 150psi, when uou turn the dial the pressure stays the same after 13psi.... Re do the test with a snap on or sumthan in that range.... Just giving you a heads up..

The pressure on mine went up as i turned the pressure up just fine, however I do agree that this harbor freight one is not the most reliable/accurate. If I get my hands on a snap on leak down tester i will most deff use it and see what my results are.

Also the harbor freight compression tester is a complete pile of junk. It reads like 50psi lower on compression than other decent brand compression testers.

Re: Neu Impact:(The Midori Story) pics/vid.
So I have another IFO event coming up this Sunday June 8th, and I just realized that I never updated my last IFO event back in April in Noble, Oklahoma. So here is an update.
Run1. was shitty, and ran 12.4 had trouble getting into 2nd and had 9psi in the slicks and had some spinning
Lowered the PSI in the slicks...
Run2. 1.67 60ft let off around the 1000 ft cause i came out of the groove and started to head for the center line and ran 11.08 @ 126mph
Run3. 1.67 60ft everything felt good and around the 1000ft CEL light comes on and all throttle was lost... ran 11.01 @124mph.
Got back to the pits and the crank angle position sensor error was showing up. Unfortunatly I was borowing a friends Hondata that day since mine was sent off to Hondata for the V3 upgrade and had not got it back at that time. He told me he has had that problem before when he was racing and had to send the ECU off and get it fixed. Needless to say I was eliminated the first round since my car was basically in a limp mode.
Here are some pics from that day.
Got the Hondata V3 uprade
Also got a new catch can made by my friend Touny P

Re: Neu Impact:(The Midori Story) pics/vid.
Couple updates to finish up the 2014 season for me.
Took the car out for a weekend cruise and got a little heavy footed decided to drop it into 2nd gear on a highway pull and well blew up 2nd gear!
After math
Got all of that fixed and put back together.....and just to make things more of a pain in the *** my 7 year old composite Skunk2 fuel rail decided to be cracked upon starting the car and dump fuel all over the place.
Got a new fuel rail then went to Wichita Kansas for the Fusion Works drag event. Car felt like it was down on power. After reviewing datalogs i was nly making 12psi the whole way down the track and should have been around 30psi. We checked for leaks and could not find anyhing. Continued to race that day and ran 11.7s at 120mph pretty much.
Upon further inspection I fount a had a loose connection at the ECU pinout to the boost solenoid. Fixed that and was back to boosting upwads of 30psi. This past weekend was my final event of the season and I was determined to breakinto the 10s damnit!!! Even with the stack gearset in poor shape I managed to pull out a 10.6 at 145mph!!! However I did get eliminated in the 2nd round by Mr. Aron Lopez. I plan on refresing the transmission and running low 10s ASAP.
