My S372 CRX build
Hi guys...
I have always been an allmotor guy but the times you guys are running in SFWD convinced me to try with some boost. I sold my old B20VTEC and has been building an LSVTEC for boost. The goal is to have the fastest SFWD car in Europe.
My big concern is getting that giant S372 in a small CRX and still have it streetable. I will first run it NA to pass an emission test and build it for boost this winter. Here are some pics...

Re: My S372 CRX build (Autoworks)
if you are worried about space, for what it is worth, the equal length twin scroll from full race shown last weekend, they told me it was mocked up in a crx.
good luck with the build. looks nasty so far.

This is what I'm seriously considering to use to replace my InlinePro manifold. I know it's supposed to fit with the two gates, but I wonder just how tight it will be.
CRXEE8: Good luck on the build and keep us updated on how it goes.

The fit will be a bit tight. I mean considering you're putting it in a CRX but the performance gains over the InlinePro mani will be HUGE. You're talking about a twin scroll tubular manifold vs a single scroll log type manifold. We have compared the two manifolds already with another Full-Race manifold and the gains were just amazing. You have to see it for yourself!! Good luck..

What kind of gains have you seen in your testing? I'd love to see these gains first hand on my car! Perhaps this winter I'll take off that log junk and get a real manifold.

That's good to hear.
I'm pretty used to trying to fit things in a cramped engine bay, so even if I need to get a little creative, sounds like it will be worth the effort.

Well we did testing on the same exact engine set ups b20vtec's one with Log manifold and the other with the FR top mount twin scroll. Spool was about 900rpm earlier with the full-race top mount twin scroll. End power was 650whp at 27lbs with the Full-Race top mount twin scroll vs 655whp at 34lbs. Need I say more....
Ohh yeah this testing was done in the hands of Felix Medina tunning...

Re: My S372 CRX build (bnorth)
The sleeves and rods are from Blueprint. I got the sleeves installed locally. I know that the turbo is overkill right now but the block is build for 800+ whp. At some point I will run it at that level. I will do a 94 octane program first and then later tune it for race fuel.

Re: My S372 CRX build (Turbocivic94)
It's a pretty basic setup....
LS block sleeved to 84 mm
Wiseco 9:1 pistons with upgraded wrist pins
Blueprint Racing H-beam rods, teflon coated
Stock B16A head
GSR cams
Neukin T4 manifold
BW S372 turbo
Will be tuned with eCtune...

Yep, when i switched from my inline pro mani to the full-race top mount i picked up 58 whp at the same boost level, same day, dyno etc.

judging by your setup, i think this turbo on that manifold will not be streetable. it would be a very good idea to check out our twinscroll bottom mount manifold, they are designed specifically to fit in the CRX engine bay and will spool your giant turbo much earlier, and actually make it driveable.

we designed it specifically around the CRX, since we have a lot of customers who wanted to use our twinscroll top mount but it would not fit due to the headlight and hood clearance. If it fits a CRX, it fits every other chassis with much more room to spare.
the main goals of the design are improved response, better CG, shorter downpipe, shorter charge piping, reduced pressure drop/reduced wall friction, shorter oil return, it fits an EF with 42R and 2 WGs, it fits an EG/EK/DC better and with more room

Re: My S372 CRX build (Full-Race Geoff)
Well, I'm just about sold on this manifold. At least there is now another option for us EF guys running larger twin scroll turbo's.
Thanks Full-Race
