I've taken a HX52 variant to 800whp on a 2JZ at 5500ft altitude, so will be interesting to see what number the J32 pulls out from it. Its a great street/strip turbo on a 3.x 6 cylinder

I love the HX52 when i build the motor ill probably just run 2 of them hahah cheap and rock solid reliable. my cvic always ran the same hx52.
another upddate i guess got the rest painted all but bumper supports.
since earlier posts from 2013 the wife and i have bought a house with a much larger workspace.still need to unpack its a huge mess,need to get that together before i really get in to the s2k.
its so beautiful

UNBELIEVABLY JEALOUS at the skill some the members have, wish I was half as talented and knowledgeable. Car is coming along beautifully, keep up the amazing work

things are moving along.
rear brakes are done.
line lock and front brakes done.dont have a pic but the pass side brake line runs threw the cowl
some more mocking up
could go in something like this?
some how im going to chop up these 140 dollar headers and mount the the turbo somewhere lol
gonna be a challenge
dreaming... wish it would just get together

Too bad the top and bottom bolt patterns on those headers aren't the same or you could flip them over like GM - LS motor guys do and just build a large diameter two pipe collector...
Almost might as well just hack everything off those header flanges and use them but build the rest from scratch.

Looks really good Chris! Janeen got passes through her work so I don't know when we'll be down there, but sometime this weekend we'll be there.
I'm curious if you don't mind sharing, with all your bartering, trading, and selling, about how much $ do you have into this at this point?

I made a valiant effort to see you guys but ultimately I just ended up driving around Cobo for over an hour looking for somewhere to park.
Lots of people were taking pics & vids of the Evo as I was driving around.
Got pulled over for sudden acceleration (again).
Argued my out of it (again).
Drove home.
Anyway, congratulations! What class did you get 1st place for?
