My 2012 SFWD integra build
Picked this car up about 4 months ago and its just been sitting while ive been acquiring parts...guess im at the point i can make one of these threads lol.
Rundown of the car...
Ive only been TIG welding for a couple of months, so be kind lol.
Chassis:
1994 Acura integra RS
10pt mild steel cage
100% complete interior
15" Sunflower wheels (daily) and Bogart Flystar with MT 24.5 track
Stroud chute
Kirkey front seat
Motor:
Golden Eagle B18A1 84mm
Wiseco 9.1 pistons
Eagle rods
B16 head
Stock ports/valve
Supertech Springs and retainers
Skunk2 Pro 1 cams
STR pro cam gears
Turbo:
Garrett 37R ball bearing center section and hot side and Precision 62mm billet wheel cold side
Precision 66mm wastegate
Precision 1000hp A2W intercooler
top-mount
3" downpipe/exhaust
3" chargepipe
2.5" dumptube
Drivetrain:
Stock GSR trans
Comp twin disc
Buddy Club Racing Spec coilovers

It should be legal. I've never read the door bars cant be bent. Looks good to me. Steve, give Carry a call if you haven't already. He will be the one teching your cage right?

The door bars ARE legal. I emailed a picture of them to Pat at the NHRA tech office and hes said door bars can have bends in them. I have the email saved for when i go to get it cert'd.

I just said SFWD as a point of reference lol. Ill prolly run in FWD in the IFO event. Too many poeple crying about me using a 42R and A2W for FIS. And...Since i know you guys and SpeedFactory are gonna be in FIP lol.

Rules are rules! They can work for you or against you. Tell the people that bitch to f*ck off. If you show up with full interior, current tabs, and 25" tires then run FIS! Its not your fault you are building a car that fits the rules and other people don't like it. That bs. They have the right to put that stuff on their car just like you, only difference is you actually did it and they didn't. Sucks for them.

Props for building an Integra RS chassis, I love those things.. Long wheelbase and everything fits in an Integra. I'm starting to build another car for 2013 now.. Another white RS.

Nice job on the win Joe. You know my buddy CJ up here in Spokane. I tuned his car before he brought it down to you to get tuned on the rollers.
