hey whats up hondatech,

So after making good progress with the hatch this year ive decided its time to get the car ready to run with the big dogs this coming year in the all motor class.i havent done anything to the car yet but i will keep the post updated as i go.Plans are to build another motor,install glass windshield,add a few tubes to the cage,and add weight to be at the class rule of 1900(hopefully they see that its rediculous to have b-series weight the same as h/99mm k's and lower it)but either way its in my plans.

for the people who dont know the car here are some specs and pics of the car as it was this year

94 civic hatch @ 1820lbs

tb motorworx 86.5x98mm stroker kit

tb motorworx single lobes

tb motorworx stage 3 cnc head

tb motorworx hood exit headers

skunk2 ultra 6.5l manifold

ALR built from bumper to bumper/valve cover to oil pan

tuned on Hondata s300 with m5 fuel by steve delacruz/stickerguy

made 335hp with 200ft lbs of torque

best e.t.: 10.204@131mph

What are you going to do about the Fuel? Thier website for class rules says Methanol is not allowed?

im going to start with q16 then go from there. if the car ends up having to be 1900lbs ill probably run ftw,but im trying to avoid that.

I was running c45. Its still fairly new but is supposed to outperform q16.

What size motor u planning on running? And how soon do u think it will be ready?

it will be a 2.4,86x103mm and im getting it ready for next season. dont know how soon everything will be done since its all custom but im shooting for spring nationals if everything goes as planned

wow big engine.
do u use only a 103mm crank? does it fit with a main girdle ?? maybe golden eagle 3 point...

yes sir im going to have to do a deck plate to keep the r/s ratio a little more reasonable

the ones ive seen didnt have a girdle so im assuming it comes up too high to be able to use one but im not sure

thanks bro, thats my goal but i doubt ill make it for spring nationals. keeping my fingers crossed i have alot of work ahead of me once parts start coming in
