Kirkey, Stock, and JDM Recaro Seat Weight!!

Kirkey, Stock, and JDM Recaro Seat Weight!!
I noticed that there was alot of posts on all sorts of forums of people asking what the seats weigh and what the differences are between the three. so i have done the favor for you guys and weighed them all.
All seats were weighed with my bathroom scale and to see how accurate it was i grabed a 10lbs weight from the garage and was very accurate.
I ALONE weigh 127.8
Me carrying the KIRKEY seat was 149.1 lbs
Me carrying the stock seat was 160.4 lbs
Me carrying the JDM recaro 169.2 lbs
Me carrying the 10lbs weight 138 lbs
Extra Info:
-the jdm recaro seat has complete oem rails with no belt buckle
-the stock dc 1995 seat also has all the stock rails with no buckle
- kirkey 15" wide drag pro seat equipped with bottom bracket, steel side mount brackets, paint, pads, and belt knuckle (part #41300)

The kirkey economy drag 15.5" hip is 12.7. Part number 16400.

Kirkey pro drag is a little lighter than the economy drag.
Yes it's strong enough. Has reinforcement between the inside/outside layers. The one pictured is for a sprint car. Mine is a little different, less lateral support since not needed for drag racing as much as for circle track. Some are sfi approved, some are not.

Again, thanks for taking the time to actually weigh the seats. So 11lbs is the weight they are approximately. Now to see what my front and passenger seats weigh.

Thank you for this information. I was researching Kirkey pro street seats to swap out of my 2015 Honda Fit to save some extra weight. I'm actually looking for about 50 more lbs to lose somehow (Shooting for 2350lbs curb weight). Trying to achieve a certain power/weight ratio.

My Fit did well with lightweight wheels and I put some Unorthodox pulleys on it, made it a bit quicker on the road.
