I picked up a block.
Darton sleeves
Je pistons
Eagle rods with 625+ bolts
Arp headstuds
Acl bearings
Just waiting on the Ks tuned balance shaft delete and timing tensioner and the motor is going in!

Lots of progress. Ran out of time. Going to get the motor and trans in the car tomorrow. Big step for now.

Nice build! I'd like to see the dyno session on the new block! The facility is very familiar to me

My biggest downfall was 2.0 60 foots. If I would have broke down and bought a good pair of slicks(which I ran out of money having to buy another motor, and trans, etc) I would have pulled 1.7's and knocked a little over a half second off. It was hitting full boost around 4k and vtec was set to 4,400 rpm. On 6 psi yes.

Thanks man. My buddy that paints was trying to get me to go with white because of fear I wouldn't turn out very well. Him and everyone at the shop was impressed. I did a pretty good job. Everything was even and not even a single run in the paint. I had a couple small runs with the clear and a couple small imperfections. We still have not wet sanded or polished the car. Before it comes out this spring we are going to go over it and polish it.

Well I ran out of time again but atleast it is inside of the car. I should have a little more free time this weekend to really start getting it together.

I decided to take the Efi 101 and advanced classes through Efi University. Great class. I suggest anyone who ever plans on doing any tuning or even anyone who is already a beginning tuner to take these classes. Very informative.

I hate doing these but they make such a big difference.
I got the whole front end together today. Put new grease in the axles.
I got the motor running 2 days ago. Runs like a dream. Set it down and drove it back in fourth in my garage today. 1st-5th and reverse works great.
Getting pretty excited for spring to get here.
I still have a nice list of stuff to buy but Im getting there.
