I decided on the 2012 Acura Tl Black but added 3 times the amount of red pearl as it called for. Turned out better then I ever imagined.

With some complications and the cast manifold I pulled 237 whp and 185wtq on a mustang dyno @ 8psi on the turbonetics.
Smoking out with 3 cracked pistons and still walkin ****

Sad to say 3 days after dyno I had serious amounts of blow by and assumed I smoked the turbo. So I sold it ... and then found out it was the ringlands on 3 pistons ....
then the new one came in.

All these new parts have me determined to build an engine now ... but I don't have all of the money to do that at this time. Meanwhile Im about 10-11k deep into this car in 6 months time.

Figured I couldn't go without this car after selling two of my coupes that were mediocre just to let it sit ...
But I had to. Boosted black hatch has been my dream Honda for 10 years.

Re: Kenny's Little 61mm street car resurrection from the rice.
Made 241 whp at 6 psi and kept it safe and reliable since I broke the first. This engine was just to get me by. But to my surprise with the new manifold and precision it felt like it was twice as fast with only 4 more whp then the turbonetics 55mm and cast mani at 8 psi.
With terrible 2.0-2.1 60 foots I was more then please at the outcome with the results. I was only launching at 4,500 rpm and with the usdm m2f4 trans with higher mileage it did not shift as smoothly and quickly as the m2a4 did, but as I forgot to mention I also lost reverse in the trans I received in the original swap. So All in all I had a pretty complicated first 8 months with this car. 2 engines, 2 trans, 2 turbos, 2 manifolds, 2 dyno tunes ... It added up very quick. So I have decided I am going to focus on making this setup as solid as I possibly can within means and budget over this winter 2013-2014. Planning to come out with 5-550 whp properly set up for summer of 2014. Hopefully things go slightly smoother then 2013 did.
Anyways here is a video against a bolt on ws6 ...

93ls10.0 Honestly man, I love the 6152. I have never had any extremely large turbos of my own but have ridden in large turbo cars. I find it to be the perfect combination for a street turbo. The turbonetics I had wasn't bad but this kills it in every aspect and I see full boost at almost the same rpm. I love it, and with what it is capable of I find it hard to want anything larger. Ive seen a few other cars making 600whp with the sc61. So it will do everything I want and more.

Thanks man. Ive had a vision for a long time. Decided just to go for it exactly as I want it and put together a solid street car with potential at the track.

It was a lot of work in a short amount of time for sure. I had the car painted within 5 months of having it. I wouldn't trade it for the world. I have put together a **** load of decent cars in the past 9-10 years but this was the first time I have ever done body work. I was looking for a hatch and this one was so solid and clean underneath I decided to jump on it. Thought about giving up on it and buying one with nice paint a few times lol
Glad I decided not too. Knowing that I put this car together with absolutely no help in my crappy little garage is a pretty rewarding feeling.

Has anyone here used an FX500 CM? I have seen some decent reviews on it. Still have time to decide or not but I might sell it and just suck it up and buy a twin disk. Its going to be a toss up if it works for me or not.
