Default KAIZENSPEED H2B EK 9.58 @ 154 on 28 psi and counting

We decided to head up to Renegade Raceway last night for a test n tune. It was the first time we've ran any more boost than just off the wastegate springs. Boost was set to 290kpa by the top of second.... we were hoping to get some datalogs and get the boost turned up by the end of the night but because there was only like 8 cars at the track they shut it down and we only got two passes.

Right off the trailer the car went 9.80 at 151 mph. Then we just came back to the trailer and added ice to the intercooler and ran again to a 9.58 at 154. We were adding fuel when the track called it a night.

Overall we're happy with the results at that boost level and we are hoping for a good showing at IFO on the 27th. The car seems really stable at speed although we need some better brakepads for sure! I think the front splitter is really functional and adds quite a bit of stability. Two rivets ripped out of the front splitter brace right in the middle so we know it's doing what it is supposed to!

I'll post the in-car video shortly, but we don't have any footage from outside the car.

Here are some pictures of the splitter and what kind of downforce it appears to be creating. The center-most two rivets were completely ripped out after the second pass and the center-most four rivets all dimpled the splitter. They weren't that way before the passes. I like to think that the splitter is helping the car feel so stable, it's effortless driving the car straight. I'm curious to see how the car feels with another 30mph!

Bottom of the splitter

Here you can see the two rivets that ripped out and the two that are still in but dimpled the splitter:

Another:

Splitter from the top:

The way the front bumper is shaped it is perfectly vertical in the center (where the rivets ripped out or dimpled the splitter) and then it lays back as you go around the sides. It's interesting to see the effect on the splitter after only two passes and 150 ish mph.

It even bent the nose down a bit:

Here's the in-car video. It starts after the poke at AEM haha! There's a copy of the timeslip too.

Impressive. Glad to see another H2B going fast. That splitter was doing work on the top end. Takes some serious force to do that. I know you said you had done some additional welding and clearance work on the block for larger axles, what axles are you running currently?
