Awesome news, make sure we get a stack of flyers when ever you get them Cliff. Gonna toss ideas around with the staff here to encourage people to come out and support the event, either toss some free products out to people or shirts ect... wanna see this come back every year.

Gotta give a huge thanks to Cliff for coming out and putting on an IFO locally to us at route 66. The drag car count was low but I know a lot of poeple are getting ready for fall nationals and worldcup so I'm sure . We had a few cars out and everyone that went out with us had an amazing time despite the low car count in the drag classes. Hopefully you guys will return next year.

Had a good time yesterday, sucked to see all the cars breaking. My only complaint/ suggestion would be to get the car audio people far away from the stand and pits. I couldn't here any annocements over that crap.

I know a lot of people were complaining about that as well, I'm sure they'll take care of it as this was their first year. I know the lines were long too and they said next year they'd open up more gates then just two. If the event is a little earlier in the year and not planned around another larger event, I think attendance would be even higher.

I'm just happy we have something here, since no other track is willing to listen to make changes or allow people like Cliff to put on events. I know route 66 wasn't the only track he talked to about this.

My hats also go off to the two guys at the staging lanes...the amount of people going right threw the bulbs was a little surprising.

We'll def open more gates next year plus move the stereo contest. Usually the stereo contest is nothing to worry about since so few show up for it. We've learned at this first event it's definitely a big draw for Chicago though.

I will make sure there is a larger contingent from the Central Iowa area next year. I know quite a few that were upset that they missed out. And if drifting is added, that will only grow the crowd/attendance.

^^ do you know the blue teg from Iowa? I was curiouso on his setup. Very clean and well built car. Hutchington or something along that line.

It was my car....just getting it dialed in. I purchased the shell from a guy in Wichita and put the rest of it together myself.

I got lucky, but I did run my p.b. with it that day.
