DARTON SLEEVES TEAMS UP WITH SPEEDFACTORY RACING FOR 2015!

Tacoma, Washington – Darton Sleeves and SpeedFactory Racing are joining forces for the 2015 drag race season. Darton Sleeves will be used in all 3 SpeedFactory race cars and SpeedFactory has become a Master Wholesale and Retail distributor for the entire Darton Sleeve product line.

Darton International was incorporated in 1978 with a goal of becoming a premier manufacturer of automotive speed equipment parts. Started by 2 ex drag racers from the 60’s they were approached with the task of supplying sleeves for the fastest cars in the world. With Keith Black being their first customer Darton set out to set the industry standard when it came to block sleeving. Darton has its own proprietary material that far exceeds the material of any of its competitors. Based on an ISTM spec Darton changed the metallurgy of ductile iron so it can be used in a performance automotive application. This eventually led to the inception of the DDI2007 superior strength ductile iron which is used today by teams like John Force Racing, Schumacher Racing, Kalitta Racing and many more. Along with their superior strength ductile iron Darton is known for its Modular Integrated Deck or MID Sleeves and Seal Tight Sleeves. These innovative designs are engineered to not meet but exceed all of their customer performance and horsepower needs. The MID was first developed for John Lingenfelter when he raced for GM. Most recently the MID Sleeve is now being used by Dart Machinery in their new Dart LS Next block.
