I've tuned 2 and sold a few others...no issues reported by any of my customs.
AEM does boost by speed, which is essentially the same as boost by gear (for drag racing purposes)nsince your "gear" is calculated by looking at engine speed vs vehicle speed

Its the same thing. How do you think hondata does BBG? It just does the math for you. For example, if your max mph is 50 in first gear you would set the same boost level for up to 50mph. Second gear goes to 80(for example) so 50-80mph is another boost level. Just like that you have bbg with Aem. Its actually better then bbg because you can apply more boost in the middle of a gear once you have traction.

Start a new thread for these questions or post in the rear speed boost control thread as I think this topic confuses quite a few people, but has nothing to do with the Hondata CPR. We're both kinda thread jacking right now

Hondata ran out of their first batch pretty quickly, and dealers are waiting on the new batch to arrive.

Boost by gear and rpm has advantages over boost by speed in a street application and in a drag application.
The gear change signifies the torque multiplication, not speed. 75mph in 2nd won't hook up nearly as much boost at 75mph in 3rd.
Ground speed vs gear is most ideal.

Put one of these CPR units on TSR Aaron's car the other day, made 900+hp on dyno.. He went 9.6x today on 24.5's at IFO.. No issues.
