Hoosier DOT Drag Radials. Any feedback?
Had good luck with M/T's a few years back (225/50-15) and noticed the new(er) 225/50-15 Hoosier DOT Drag radial out there. Havent seen anything in the way of feedback on them, good/bad.
Car should make 500 or so on pump, so just wanting something for around town, or for dyno use. Not looking to jack my car up, nor cut the fenders so 235/60's or 275/50's are out of the question. Obviously understand that there is more to the equation, curious if the Hoosiers are comparable or better/worse than Mickeys.
Anyone have luck with the Hoosiers? Or should I stick with the good 'ol Mickeys?

I think some years back h-t member Nonvtecallmotor tried some Hoosier 225 drag radials, but I do not remember what he said right off. Maybe Hoosier changed their makeup of these particular tires and I am anxious to see what you have to say about them. Please keep us posted on your thoughts.

i know the 235/60 is out of the question.. but its not bad at all, i daily these on my car n put miles on it and they are still good.. u dont need to cut or anything to make these fit besides raising your car up.. best tire i've used..

Thanks for posting up that vid sdr Kel, you do not always see that many heads up races from a dig on the street with a FWD car on street tires.
I have used the M&H 235's and liked them. Still have my old set sitting in my garage right now and plan on using them again.

i tried the 225 hoosiers a couple years ago.. i tried MT's and BFG's before them. when they were brand new they were the stickiest tire i had ever used. they actually suprised me...but after a couple hundred miles on them they sucked! and so since then ive been using the MT's

Bite it and run the M&Hs. There is just NO substitute for the tire on hte street. Period.
I ask John for a "tall set (most of the time they actually measure out to a true 26.1), or the G 60 (26.2 and another couple cm width). The G 60s are ****ing amazzzzing, but if your limiting size, you can ask for a "short set" of the 235/60s. Yull be glad you did
I put 450 down in second with 11 PSI in them, sometimes 1 short blip to thelimiter.... From there out. SOlid. 650-700 + in fourth.
