4 wide? Can you imagine how much clean up time it would take to clean that mess up. Lol

But I highly doubt OGS is paying for them to prep and clean 4 lanes.

No they will not be running four wide. Only 2 lanes were reserved for the event.

Also your comparing two different events, Honda day will always get a big push because of the honda lifestyle.

What was wrong with the turn out at spring nationals ? was still bigger turnout then pretty much every other non ogs events, and the racer counts in Sport FWD was 28 cars with alot of cars still not ready. The only thing lacking was quick 32, but we are on Honda-tech so quick 32 shouldn't be that relevant, 900 show cars or something crazy like that was sold out, 27 11.50 index smaller then some field but still more then most, 10.20 was a new class with the hope to get other makes besides hondas in like bolt on gtr's etc which are in that range, unfortunately they didn't come out but was still 22 cars

But like Dave said Spring Nationals and Honda Day are WORLDS apart in the crowd of people who show up, question is gonna be will the locals and people from the south show up, cause it's like 10-11hrs from the tri state yes people will drive, but attendance is gonna be dependent on the locals.

4 wide, maybe it's just me but i think it's terrible, sure the once in a year for nhra and honestly it should only be an exhibition, i mean really you get to see 4 racers per class, again imo that just isn't enough even IF those 4 races might be more exciting.

As for big names Speed Factory will be there, who attends an event shouldn't be relevant if someone else races or attends, people need to support events period.
But if your expecting to see record times, thats not gonna happen it's june in NC almost definitely be 80++ degrees..
Me personally i really enjoyed spring nationals racing qualifying from 8.7 to 9.2 bump spot, was close racing all eliminations.

Without a doubt. More likely to be in the 90's. It's been high 80's for two weeks and I'm 1 hr north of Concord/Charlotte area. As a side note, It's a really nice, all concrete track with plenty of pit space.

I love the track. I enjoy the test and tunes when they have them. Very long shut down too.

I agree! Can't wait for this event! Few other big names from the north east and Florida will be coming! It should be a great event!
