Help me pick my slick size

Help me pick my slick size
I need some help from you guys about picking my new tires for playing at the track.
My car is a 2001 acura cl. My motor is bored and stroked .5L to a 3.7L, full porting, 90mm TB,4" CAI,all the bolt on's and full exhaust.
My guess my car is putting out 325whp.
My car also had a lot of weight reductions and must be 500lbs less than stock putting me just under 3000lbs,this are just somewhat guesses from removing and weighing individual piece's here and there.
I started going to the track and I was spinning 1st really bad and spinning 2nd on 225 40 18 nexxen 3000 street tires.
So I went and bought 245 40 18 nt05 stickier street tire, that was taller and wider to try to get it to hook up better and still have a tire that would last on the street.
The nexxens were giving me high 2.2's 60ft's.
The nt05 tires made me get low 2.1's-2.0's first time to the track.next couple times was running consistint 2.0's flat with a one time 1.99 best 60ft.
now I might have 5 days at the track with them and back to low 2.1's to mid 2.0's.
My quickest et was 8.32 and my highest mph trap has been 88.2.
My last time to the track my quickest et was 8.50 and fastest trap was 87.
I'm having to baby the car so much off the line from not spinning it's killing my 60ft.
I'm so done not being able to hook up off the line.
I switched from 25" tall tires to my current tires are 26" tall with better results.
Now that I want to go to slicks should I go back to a smaller tire to get lower gearing for the track or go for 26" slicks ?
I just ordered my self 2 15x8 +20 slipstreams that weigh 5lbs less each than my current rims and now I'm leaning towards 26x9x15 hoosiers that weigh 7lbs less than my current tires or something in a 24.5-25" tall tire.
Then only problem is the only 24.5" tall 15 inch tires I seen are 24.5x8x15 or 24x10x15.
I think the 8"s maybe too skinny and the 10's maybe too wide.
I know it's a lot to take in for my first post but I want to get the best heads up I can get from active fwd drag guys.
What tires should I look into?

Re: Help me pick my slick size
This may help a little with figuring out the size if tire.

And this may also help with it as well.
