Re: FastGuyRacing SFWD Build Thread for 2014
How does this make me look douchey? I am merely trying to learn from another member's mistake. I don't know why everyone is being so sensitive. Just keep it 100 and help explain what went wrong.
Fastguy's car is something I look to as a benchmark. The guy put together some top shelf components and it was unfortunate to see his season end early. I will be the first here to congratulate him when he get his car back down the track.

Re: FastGuyRacing SFWD Build Thread for 2014
You are off to a good start in your first month on Honda-Tech. Since you have mentioned FastGuy and 4Piston in 10% of your posts, I figure I should give you some good information so that when you are on here telling everybody like it is...at least you know the truth. We use ERL and Golden Eagle Sleeved blocks. If you want a good block and good service, those are your guys. We only machine cylinder heads, build engine parts, and build racing engines. We did not do anything for FastGuy's engine, and the engine builder that did is one of the best, and he didn't sleeve the block either. Sedrick bought a cylinder head from us...and for everyone that thinks he's out there begging people for a bunch of free parts and putting stickers on his car...not the truth. Sedrick was a customer, and he paid for everything he ever got from us. Just because someone has a sticker on their car doesn't mean they got a bunch of free stuff. Sedrick and I had a man to man disagreement on the phone and that's when he took the sticker off. We will probably still sit on the golf cart and drink jungle juice and talk **** at the next race....don't read too far into it. He's a good guy and you need to get to know someone and form your own opinion before you start running your mouth. I saw your bullshit in the other thread and since you are uninformed I'll give you the benefit of the doubt...the quickest and fastest turbo car in existence runs our cylinder head, as well as the quickest and fastest in SFWD. No one else has been .30s @ 185 and we have 2 guys that do it repeatedly. If anyone wants to place bets on who is the fastest at the end of next year, I love side bets and I need a retirement plan. Keep that in mind when you are giving your expert opinion on engine programs.
If you are really building something for 2015 or any other year, remember that you have to stand in the staging lanes 5 feet away from the people you bash and talk **** to on the internet. You WILL be needing a spare part to make the next round or some advice from someone you **** on with your keyboard. You will find yourself going out to dinner and being friends with some of your competitors and people you want to destroy as soon as you are in front of that tree. Just cut the guy some slack...and have fun doing this. Its the best sport with the best people in it.

first step in building an sfwd car. talk **** and mock your competitors
2nd step. create build threads before you build anything

3rd step. write build coming soon in your signature

Well, that escalated quickly haha. I follow fastguy on instagram and the dude is a clown (in a good way), always posting videos that make me laugh for the whole 15 seconds.

Re: FastGuyRacing SFWD Build Thread for 2014
Fastguy said the truth, he felt that he rushed the build. IMO I was truly amazed by how quick he got his car together and on the track. He spent hours just busting his *** off. I'm not sure what happened with Sedrick and 4piston but they worked it out and nothing else has to be said. I've always rushed my build every season and something small always has to screw up. Sets me back, so now I've learned to simply take my time. Fastguy's CAR is a monster and will be very competitive, glad to see him push foward and move on from last season. Extremly excited to see him run next year and many more years to come. Goodluck
