Re: extended studs for slicks? (lemon_juice)
im pretty sure if your using some slicks that are mounted on steelies, that you don't need any extended wheel studs. They are mainly used for wheels with a wider offset, that require longer studs

i think also when you get to a certain e.t., you need the stud to protrude atleast half the width of the stud through the nut. my NHRA rulebook gets here this week.

Re: (96dc2)
from what I understand. aftermarket wheels with slicks need extended wheel studs with open end lugnuts. and 11.49 cars need them as well.
i'm also running 13x8 bogarts with a .5mm spacer. extended studs deffinatly needed.
I reccomend the ARP's.

Some dragstrips may be stricter than what they NHRA rulebook says, but I just finished reading all 3 .pdf files on NHRAsportcompact.com and they all say the same thing as what I quoted above--and that includes all classes from ET bracket to Pro RWD.
