There is a revision out for the shifter that is supposed to make it better but I opted to just get my money back ... I still don't think the shifter will be worth a damn even after the changes . Junk 2 does minimal if not no testing on their products and will simply rely on the customers issues to let them know that there is a problem ...

Dyno session yesterday, ended the day short due to one of my 044's dying and dropping pressure under boost . Car made 700hp at 8k Rpms, I wanna say we were only building like 25 psi or so at the time . This thing should be a beast when I let it rip all the way to redline !

One of my friends had a brand new in the box magnafuel 750 4303 , that he let me get for a good price . This pump should do good for 800-1000 on e85 with No issues .

Installing pump and changing gate springs out for a lower number then back to dyno sometime this week .

Today I got the new pump installed and ready for the dyno on Wednesday . I replaced the 15psi wastegate springs to a 10psi spring so I will have better control of my boost pressure at the track . I'm only on a 3 port controller so I will most likely Max the gates out around 32 psi. These are the same springs that I used when I made 760 on the other motor . I plan to get a 4 port controller within a week so I will be able to turn it up at the track !!

I took the old dual 044's out and replaced it with this magnafuel 750. I used the mounting plate from the other pumps and slightly modded it to fit the new pump. Pump is tucked up nice n tight .

So I have had a few frustrating weeks of trying to tune the car via remote. First off not having a working wideband for my tunner to see is not bueno....
First time tuning killed my pumps this time My factory O2 isnt responding to any changes to the map. It just stays at 11.4-6 at WOT no matter what. The dyno i was using didnt have a working wideband either, so that didnt help either.... after tuning the car the first time we killed a pump. this time with the new pump we are at 100% duty again..... while my factory O2 is saying 11's my aem is reading pegged out 10.0 rich at the end of the runs.... so my car is so rich im supprised it even will rev out......

Third times the charm they say?.... Im going this friday to take my car in person to the tuner where he will be aware of all that is going on with the car. We will have a working O2 on the dyno so AF readings will not be a worry. I have my first race coming up on sunday and if all goes well this go around i will be able to make it. I was planning on being tested and fully ready to compete but that quickly became not the story.

Here is a short video of my car making a pull from the last tunning session. enjoy...

** Update to sunday at Import Showdown .....

Decided to wash my car the day before the event . Outside and the engine bay. Wasn't a very good idea apparently . Ive washed my engine bay before in the past with no issues. I wasn't that lucky this time around

Drove car onto trailer after wash and drove it off the next day at track. Let car sit and warm up then drove to Tech and back to pits . As I was warming the car up to go to the qualifying RD the car shuts off and I crank it back up . I hear somewhat of a backfire and its idling smooth. Get into the car and proceed to the lanes . While sitting in the lanes the car shuts off a second time , at that point the car will not start again.

While at the track I was messing with some things and noticed that I wasn't getting any spark. swapped crank sensor and no help. Ended up taking ecu out because at that point it was not responding to anything with my laptop. The plugs were dripping water ...... I thought the ecu was fried so I borrowed another kpro from a friend and plug it up. That didn't help either. Sat my ecu out in the sun and after a little time it was communicating again as it should. so I think we can rule out the ecu.....

Got car home and think I have it narrowed down to either a faulty o2 heater relay or the main relay . All fuses have 12v injectors have 12v but the coils are only getting 1.8v on one side of the plug. I will look further into this when I get home this afternoon. hoping to have this resolved so I can make some test passes........... note to self don't get your ecu wet......

I ended up figuring out my issue. The problem the whole time was not that water shorted out anything in my harness but instead someone who had the car previously jumped power to the main relay.

Im guessing they lost power to the #5 prong on the main relay and couldn't get it to work so they jumped 12v from the in dash fuse box and spliced into the wire that runs to that spot. They stripped the wire back just enough to expose the copper and twisted the new power wire around it with electrical tape. Also the FIE/M 15 amp fuse in the fuse box for the engine compartment did not have that fuse in it. which should supply power to #1 spot on the main relay . Ive had this car for going on 3 1/2 years with no wiring issues that I knew of . The wire that was spliced had a inline fuse on it . I have always wondered what that was for, now I do.

I would assume that since I have stiffer mounts now that the wire just naturally vibrated loose on its own. Im happy to say that it wasn't a short circuit or a damaged ecu. Car starts and runs as should now. Hopefully going testing in the morning . First time out with the car since the new setup. last sunday I was supposed to race but got there and my car died. Ive been trying to test for over a month now and not had the chance.
I JUST WANNA GO FAST>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Track on Saturday went pretty well. I found some areas that I need to address and also some things I need to work on and make changes towards.

Making some quick alighnement changes as well as ride height and moving some weight around. with out a good 60' and short track you wont go anywhere.

Best pass of the day was 9.62@159 . It was just as much my fault as it was the tracks . Once I get these changes made I will be ready for some low 9's at IFO @commerce GA on the 29Th.

I have no complaints for Saturday, I went to test and knock off the rust on my car. I did just that and got a new PB in the process. Only will get faster from here. More to come!!!

Here is a video of some of the runs.
