Drag racers Transmission oil of choice???
What do you guys run and what do you recommend?
My transmission is a NEW usdm ITR with 0 miles on it, the car will be drag raced as often as possible but is still a street car.... I can't decide on AMSoil Synthetic Synchromesh Transmission Fluid 5W-30 (MTF), GM synchromesh friction modified, or Honda MTF... any info would be appreciated

Re: (Garcia-Racing)
not sure if this was the problem, but changed oil in tranny to synchromesh and the next time out to the track which was that night the tranny went....not saying that was the problem, i just dont trust it anymore....OEM HONDA FTW

I'd like to know as well, seems kinda thick for a syncro trans...
So pretty much everyone uses something different, I know alot of K seies guys have good results with AMSoil.

Thats what I was thinking too, I know motor oil thins out when warm/hot
