Does anyone know the RECORD pass/MPH for a REAL street-driven FWD Honda on radials?
Too hard to search for this. Wondering if anyone out there knows who holds the record for best ET and fastest MPH for a full interior, street legal/street driven FWD driven Honda on radials or bias ply.
I don't believe anyone has done better than low 10's at this point. I think the record is held by Cunha with low 10's and around 140mph?
Just curious, thanks.

Re: Does anyone know the RECORD pass/MPH for a REAL street-driven FWD Honda on radial
I meant to include bias ply... any street legal tire is fine.
Putting bias ply on an Outlaw car is not what I'm asking about. I'm talking about a registered and insured street car with no metal cutting, full interior, etc.
Cunha, were you quicker than 10.40 or faster than 151mph?

That 151mph pass that I made was the last time I raced on those tires and the first time that it seen 30psi . I went to slicks after Nopi shut down and went 157mph on the same setup...

Ok, I'll wait for each of those guys to chime in with specifics. I'll include cars that have been stripped down a bit as their weight is noted, as long as they are truly driven on the streets at least occasionally.

Re: Does anyone know the RECORD pass/MPH for a REAL street-driven FWD Honda on radial
My car made about 630whp@28-30psi and weighed 2550. i drove it to the track, aired the tires down ran 10.89@126 with a 1.73 60 ft@ 18psi then went 10.33 (1.77 60ft)and 10.60(1.89 60 ft) aired them back up and drove home. The only reason i even tried to run on those tires is because i had just went 9.8 the week before on slicks and had no license.

I went 11.5@137 on a 205 non drag radial
If i had a M&H bias ply i am pretty sure it could go 10.7-8

I know it's not the fastest but here goes...
This car is driven 3-5 times a week.
09' setup
E.T. / MPH / Weight / Tire / Chassis / Engine (B vs. K etc.)
11.81 / 118 / 2350 / BFG 225 / 92 Hatch / 81mm lsvtec

Jeff Evans' wife used to run that drag radial class as well as the guy with the EF sedan. I remember watching them at Rockingham years ago. Maybe they will chime in, I know they both post on here.
I went high 11's on the M&H 235's with a hatch that I put about 15k miles on in a year. This was in 2007.
These street tire threads are what I really enjoy reading. Gets me anxious to finish my new project and run it on some street tires.
