Building a DART b20 tall deck motor. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
How ya guys doing.. anyways, i have the DART b20 tall deck block right now... I wanted to build it up but not exactly sure which combo im gonna go with for turbo on this thing... My goal is high 10's, and make it some what streetable in a EG hatch. Should i still stick to a 9:1 compression or bump it up a bit? im also not sure what the highest i can rev up to since its a tall deck block... probably goign with the different sized eagle crank and rods, but not exactly sure what size.... any help here would be greatly appreciated, just wanting to build a monster ! haha -alex-

I thought i read some where or was told that in street class you can use aftermarket blocks (could be wrong though).

Does Dart give you some possible combinations that they would suggest to use with this block? I would not have a clue as to what works but would be happy to help you with the design and build if you are in the OC.

I think hes building a street car. I hate that the market moves around the nhra rules so much. I know that it governs well but, give it a couple years dart blocks will be the norm. I know that in the drag sport issue with mikes car in the new products section they had a company offering aftermarket heads. Good luck with the build.-pdang
