Default Build thread...not a honda. DSM, auto, GTX45R, Kiggley, ETS, Tial, 40+psi....

Im one of the crew guys that work on this car for Trevor Holland and Hollands Performance. Thought it would be cool to finally share what were doing with the car now, where its been and where its going.

6 years ago the car had a Precision BB T67 on 35psi running 10.0's on street tires. Put slicks on it and started eating 5-speed trannys. The decision was made to swap over to an auto. Using a basic 1g tranny on a Ross piston Eagle rod motor and 67mm turbo car went 9.6 on 32psi with an Ebay manifold and alot of stock parts about 4 years ago. Picked up a Garrett 4202R and worked it down to a 9.1@153 on 32psi. Decided to get serious with it and relieve it from it street dutys. Up tp this point the car has weighed around 3200lbs/w driver. Now swapped over to a GTX45R on all the old setup, we realized we needed to build the car around the new turbo and setup. Lucas English has been tuning the car and last dyno session yielded 740+ awhp through the 2G auto tranny. Math shows around 1000 crank hp on about 38psi. Started Bright and early monday morning on the new setup, Everything has been fabbed in house. Goal is mid 8's once the boost it turned up. Feel free to leave comments and question.

Basic rundown on the car is:
92TSi
5-Speed car (converted to auto)
2.0
Concrete block
RnR Aluminum Rods
JE's
Stock crank
Ported head
FP4R's
Kiggley Beehive Springs
JMFab intake manifold
Tial wastegates and BOV
ETS Intercooler
ETS Manifold materials fabbed by Hollands Performance
Garrett GTX4508R
Hollands Performance 2G auto Trans
IPT Billet Converter
Shep 300m T-case
Stock axles
Stock rear end
DSS driveshaft
AEM series 1 EMS (tuned by Lucas English)
Q16 fuel
Aeromotive Eliminator Pump
Aeromotive A1000 regulator
FIC 1600's
NOS driect port (120 shot for spool)

Thats all i can think of off the top of my head.

Swapping from the old T67 to the 4202R

Rods and slugs

How it looked Monday morning.

The 'Ol topmount (thats for sale BTW)

And lets get to fabbin the manifold that places the turbo in the drivers headlight.

Still have to setup the twin 44mm gates in it...so more to come.

its pretty sick setup. i see one downfall though. you need a kevlar timing belt with all that money into it.

Awesome! I love a clean DSM. What do you mean by 'concrete block'?

We only run OEM timing belts. They have always held up and never had any issues.

And "concrete block" means the water ports are partialy filled with concrete to strengthen the block.
