b20vtec NA vs ls/vtec turbo vs b18c5 NA question!

Default b20vtec NA vs ls/vtec turbo vs b18c5 NA question!

Ima list the setups first and then the question

The B20 VTEC:
B16 HEAD BUILT (SUPERTECH VALVE TRAIN AND SKUNK 2 PRO 2 CAMS)
B20 BLOCK W/ CP PISTONS MANLEY RODS
GSR TRANNY w/lsd
(HE AIMING FOR 220WHP

Ls Vtec turbo:
B16 head stock valves w gsr cams
18g turbo
Cp pistons golden eagle rods
Ls tranny w/lsd
Doing 300whp

B18c5:
B16a2 head fully built (supertech valve springs itr cams)
Built block cp pistons and golden eagle rods
He has a couple of other stuff to get him to 240whp
Itr tranny

Now to get these cars to those hp figures there obviously more things involved in these setups I left them out because I thought they were irrelevant for my question.


Question is: there's a run between the b20vtec which is in an ej1 ex coupe, the ls/vtec turbo in a 96 2dr LS integra and the b18c5 in a 00 civic coupe dx...now I know the Ls will smack w the turbo, but what about the b20 vs the b18c5 respectively in the car that they are in. Who would win?

These builds are being done and will be completed by october of this year completely tuned. I just want to get an idea of the outcome b4 we roll out...another this is that we have a friend with a v6 altima coupe talking smack that we wouldn't beable to hold him down (although I know my ls vtec setup would walk all over him) how would the other 2 cars do?

my friend just ran a 13.7@100 with his b20 vtec just has cams.. quite a bit quicker than LS vtec

Yea but remeber my ls vtec setup is turbo not all motor so its a completely different story

My old b20vtec set up(i only made 3 passes on this combo) in a EF hatchback

GSR head ported/polished chambers opened up to 84mm
s2s3 cams/gears
super tech valvetrain
skunk2 GSR manifold
BDL fuel rail
68mm TB
RC 370cc
JE pistons & Rods
CR12.5:1
ITR flyweel
ACT 6 puck clutch/pressure plate
OBD-0 ECU reprogrammed by ERE

that produced 244 hp on the dyno and I ran 12.6, 12.7 @ BOTI Fontana '05 car maybe weighed around 1800lbs.

I hate i tore it all apart and never ever got it back together....

doable and not a unreasonable goal with a decent C/R

looks good with room to upgrade to larger turbo, 300whp is going very easy on semi-built block

Hmmm,

Haven't been around for awhile. Maybe I'll keep the CR-V and throw a VTEC head on it.

13.2 @ 105mph was my fastest all motor run on my built B20/vtec
CTR CAMS and Wisco 11.3:1 pistons
