Default B18C1 Water pipe (between pump and stat) same as other b series??

B18C1 Water pipe (between pump and stat) same as other b series?? I am just looking for something I can weld the nipples shut on. Not running heater core, oil cooler, or anything like that. I have a B18C1, but the pipe on the core motor got damamged. Was wondering if an LS pipe will fit.

Thanks for any help!

There are 4 variants of water pipes that I know of and have used.

LS: IACV only, no oil cooler, no heater core port - must use LS thermostat housing to retain heat
Type R: IACV + oil cooler, no heater core port - must use LS/ITR/B16 thermostat housing to retain heat
'94 to '97 GS-R: IACV + oil cooler + heater core
'98+ GS-R: IACV + heater core, no oil cooler port

Right now I'm using the ITR pipe with oem oil cooler and ITR/LS/B16 thermostat housing.

I'd say use the LS water pipe with GS-R thermostat housing, then cap off the heater hose port on the side of the head with the M16x1.00 cap from the transmission.
