Hey thanks for the info guys. We are trying to get ready for the last few races. The stock transmissions can only handle so much. We are trying prevent any failures and miss shifts. I also have a couple street cars needing parts also. Hope to see everyone in Texas next month.

one of these days im sure i will. i havent asked lately but there are a handfull of pro all motor cars as well as some street cars in cali that have complete transmissions from them. i did talk to someone here in jersey who bought a synchro set and was very pleased with the results. any other tech related questions pm gearspeedef9. thats james and he can answer any trans inquiry you have.

Clearances are the same as OEM stock synchros. The rings themselves minus the coating are from Honda of Japan. Thanks again Roger

Can the carbon-coated brass rings be purchased seperately?

The coating takes the place of the original synchro teeth. The Carbon is clearanced to OEM specs to answer your question.

Hey James, we have received the syncro's and bearings. I just wanted to say we had great service and all the parts look to be in order and we will see if we can run 8's this weekend in Chicago this weekend.

there are definatly street cars running the synchros. the coating is similar to a brake pad lining. i would expect it would last considerably longer than a stock synchro under racing conditions.

We have the set available for 100 for 3/4/5 in most applications. These synchros are also used in some of Honda's production lines so daily driving them is no problem, I do it all the time!. This technology is also being advanced to Porsche in the 966 and Carrera for 2005 as well

I think he means he replaced them with stock 3-4
