Re: Another 2015 SFWD build thread. Yawn.
Kinda hard to get back into the swing of things and staying later after taking a week off of it. But I did manage to get something small done tonight and finished making my hydraulic TO line. Since I'm using a Tilton hydraulic throw out bearing, re-bleeding the TO any and every time the trans comes out doesn't sound like the most ideal/fun thing. So I ordered a -3AN titanium inline dry break, now I simply just twist it apart then back together and don't have to worry about it any more. One less step to do and if I got in a pinch at the track that 10-20 minutes could be crucial.

Re: Another 2015 SFWD build thread. Yawn.
Wow, I hadn't realized two months had passed since I updated this thread! As with any long build, I am guilty of changing things before I even started the car. I acquired a new Borg Warner SXE class legal 72mm turbo over the winter and it showed up a month ago. Not wanting to disappoint the guys at BW or Full-Race, I decided to up my game and switch over to an 8 injector setup to find out the real potential of this new turbo. Knowing that I would eventually make the switch, but not this soon, I had Joel at Racespec prewire my harness for such an occasion so it will be as simple as plugging in a sub harness. Really excited to see what this thing is going to do!
I bought a Skunk2 Ultra intake manifold with the 2L spacer. Its considerably larger than my last intake manifold so I will have to redo my breather setup.
The angle of the picture is deceiving but it will clear the fuel pump with a clamp on it.
I also decided to switch to an electric water pump setup. I went a different route than the normal Meziere pump and used a Davies Craig unit. We had really good results with it on tonys GTR and it was in stock First was to figure out where to mount it and make a mounting bracket. With the forward facing setup I have a bunch room in front of the engine plus it will keep the CG low and forward also. Our Fabricator at work, Wade Hill, spent last Saturday making the mount, the new water lines, the new intercooler cold side piping and various other parts. This build would have come to a screeching halt without his help and talent, so glad to have him on our team!
Here's some shots taken by another employee here for you guys, the end is near!

I didn't want to cut the harness off a good sensor so I just put a fitting with a -6AN cap on it. May prove to be a quick/handy refill spot in the future so I dont have to remove anything but its purpose was just for removing that sensor.
