26in Slicks Yay or Nay?
Well i got some mickey thompson 26 by 10.50 r15s (yes there pretty wide lol) slicks sitting around in the garage, i was recently running some 23s on my civic and was stuck running 11.0s, i am trying to break tens but cannot afford 24.5s and a good rim setup at the moment, now people have told me not to try them i will break things and other people said oh you will be fine, anyone have any advice?

not sure if you're going to break any thing with them or not, but the biggest problem you will have with them is. you are going to have to raise the hell out of the car and you will have to trim back the fenders where the mud guards attach to so you can turn the car. because they are so wide they will hit the back of the fenders. if you don't want to go through all that i would try and sell those tires and see if you could buy the 24.5 slicks. good luck with what ever you decide.

This is what your car will look like if you still want to run the tires, we have 235/60R15 BFG's on right now, but we will be changing over to the 26x10.5 R15

raise your rev limiter...
26" tires will suck your power up quick you might need a Shorter tranny to make up for it
I know the Tall BFG's even on a gsr tranny with 500hp dident work all that great
