ok so tonight was my first night on the 245 55 15. i must say.. i always heard never run a bis ply and a radial together.. i always thought that was a rwd thing.. yea.. did 2 pulls.. waiting to get a radial on the back of the car now lol. they hook better then the 235 60 15. there hooking just as good as the street and strips and it was always freezing temps out tonight, cant wait until it gets warm out.

they dead hook around 700whp in 4th. thats all the car makes. i havent really played around with pressures and bbg tapering to much. i went 11.016 @ 144mph with 3 passes. easily go 10s on them.

Easily tens. First 2 passes with 11.5 and 11.6 the tires were at 32 psi. Didn't think to check. Then I lowered then to 22 for the third. Would like to have had a couple more runs. Mid tens.

What would you guys recommend for a lower power all motor car? Roughly 350hp?

For a decent low budget on street I say neogen or the r888 love the r888 for the price it's just great but at 350hp the neogens get my vote just have to play with them a little but they do very good about 400whp in third in my old setup turbo car though but most street races happen at 40-60mph so the neogen should handle it and at 90$ each or less you can't go wrong

hey. not to much. i didnt get out in the car much this year. they do hook better then the 235 60 15 m&hs. i didnt get to play with them a ton. but they will hold a dead no bbg 700hp in 4th. thats all my car makes. so they could hold more. ill be doing lots of dialing in next year. so ill update it as it comes.

I know it's been about six months since this thread has been bumped, but are there any updates as I need to order new tires for the street soon?

How do the 245/55/15s hook on the street? Better then the Toyo r888s? I have a 15x7 wheel and looking for new tires to put on them

I just bought a set, so I'll let you know by the end of the month hopefully. My 225/50/15 ET Street Rs did a nice job though.

Eh, been there done that with Mickey Thompson tires. They wear way to fast and they hook OK at first but not worth it IMO.

I'm leaning towards the 245/55/15 MH drag radial but just debating if it's worth it to "upgrade" from the Toyo R888's in size 235/50/15

We shall see. John at M&H let me know they were on backorder for 2 1/2 weeks. I'll be home by then, so I'll mount them up and see how they do. Never had the R888's, so I won't be able to compare the two.

i have a new set for sale only mounted, i don't like how they fit on my 00si, if i had a 3 piece front end they would be perfect,id have to trim the front bumper and the car is little too high for my liking, message me if interested in buying them
