But if your doing more street and on a stock or 3pc front end either way you could go with this one.

I've heard of many people getting good results on it.

1lowek2007, here is a vid of Cunha's car on a set of 235-50-15" with a milder 500whp stock engine setup in it. I guess you can sort of get an idea of how well they work on the street from this video. Looks like he may have been using a set of the MT 235 radials, I am not 100% sure of the size though.

Dang man I wonder what size that is? def a M/T. But with a little BBG work I could get them hooking pretty good. they fit really well with that wide front end too. I like it

I've seen the 275s used on a couple of street applications, now they do require a 3pc and some alteration on the inside of the wheel well, but it works, now as for street car with stock front end, i'd agree with you.

The 275's you're seeing on street applications are on a 26" tall. 28" like you linked is way too tall.

I actually had 275-50-15 MT Et Street radials (26") on the front of my Eg with stock fenders and bumper. Just had to beat in the inner fender pinch weld and trim the back of the front bumper. It was ridiculous though- the car felt like **** and you could really tell how heavy the tires were.

im going with a 3 peace front end as well next year. here are some bias plys im thinking of trying

http://www.mickeythompsontires.com/s...&type=SS&bnr=y
there both a 26x10.5 but they measure the bulge of the side wall as well. so the actual tire width of the tire close to your fender would be skinnier.
here is a vid of my teg with the m&h street and strips 235 60 15.
car made 639 whp and 431 tq on 27 psi. car is 15psi in 2nd 25 in 3rd and like 33 or so in 4th lol. i dont really know but the boost gauge goes off the charts in the vid. 700 ish? maybe. it was a bit cool so they spun but on a hot day on like 14 pounds air pressure it hooks. you have to ramp the boost in the gears so it doesnt get a hit huge hit of power

Man you must be an exception to the rules lol. I tried running slicks before and they would literally spin at 100 mph from a roll. I could not get them to hook unless I was going to dig race someone and had laid a bunch of rubber down before I launched. And still was pretty sketchy up top for me. But I agree a 26" tire fits nicely

i think you would need a cheater slick. something that doesnt require as much heat. i would think a full out slick wouldnt hook as good unless your doing burn outs.

Re: 245/55-15 M&H Drag radials
I was considering changing to those. I've tried so many tires and the m&h street and strips are by far the best. But I'm considering trying the 235 50 15 r888s or trying the 245 55 15 m&h drag radials but j was wondering if someone has tried them

Re: 245/55-15 M&H Drag radials
oh i can update and say my 255 50 16 r888 was the best tire ever it would hook 40lbs on a 67mm on the street in 4th on a warm day. very good tire same boost i trapped almost 154mph with so take that for what you will. it def breaks dirvetrain
