Re: **Post your Fuel System and Questions**
^^^^ Is your goal 750+ on Ethanol with dual Walbro's? Interested in the results, I personally feel thats not enough pump for that power level and corn. What fuel filter is that?
I ran the 255hp Intank feeding a 255hp Inline with RC1000's and it worked great, you should have no problem making 650hp with that setup. I welded -8 and -6 bungs on my stock cover and ran -8 to the Inline and -8 out to the rail with a pushlock -6 return, but you can use you stock feed as the return its basically -6 in size already. However the fittings on the 255 Inline are only M10x1.0 so you have to reduce the feed down to a -6 with the Intank/Inline Combo at the inline pump and then go back up to -8.
Ditching the Inline this year for an 044, I need a good amount of additional fuel for my new setup.
I got a question. I am currently running a intank walbro 255 and was going to do the intank walbro feeding a bosch 044 which I have heard good results from. I also hear about people doing dual intank walbros, but what about a my walbro intank feeding a walbro 255 inline? I have heard of it done before, but didn't know if it would support 650whp with rc1000s. Thanks. I am also unsure of what size feed line.

Thanks. I saw a good deal on a walbro inline which is why I was asking, otherwise I was going to do the bosch 044. How much did you make with the two walbros?

Re: **Post your Fuel System and Questions**
The pumps held pressure at 550whp on Ethanol, and that typically requires 30% more fuel than gas so the 255/255 combo should be good for 700 depending on the dyno. Make sure you wire both pump with independent relays and the power to the Battery or Alternator.

You can see the -10 and -8 fittings welded on to the top of the kit so that I can have a true -10 and -8. Also, this allowed me to close the cover on the fuel pump.
I don't have any pictures of the lines under the car, but they go out the front and right down into the stock holders.

you have to run that cover! or make a cover yourself. there cannot be any exposed gas lines in the cabin with having a firewall or something to block it from getting into the cabin!

Ive talked to the guy in the drag racing for sale thread selling his blue si with a 42r on it, and hes running a similiar setup with e85 making like 832whp i believe, and he said he could have made more power on E85...so im guessing ill make what i want, but i will prolly stop between 750ish

Re: **Post your Fuel System and Questions**
thats how my pump is wired but.....what happens if one relay fails? then one pump dies and then possible leaning occurs causing detonation.....so i thought about 1 relay rated to handle 50A @ 12V, switch both pumps, 30A inline fuse on power to each pump......i think this would prolly be the best way to do it, this is what im changing mine too now

Interesting, 832 on E85 is the equivalent of 1100hp on Gasoline.... I dont see 2 Walbro's and a set of 1600's making that kind of power on Gas... who knows

I maxed out my 1600cc between 800-900p on ethanol with the twin 044 pumps. I dont think the walbros can hang.

Re: **Post your Fuel System and Questions**
well when i had my single walbro setup i made 586whp on a mustang dyno. running rc1000s
the injectors were maxed out but it did it. always wanted to try a double setup & try to get 900whp but u would deff need 1600s. someone try it!!
