hey i just got my 04 civic ex coupe and it came with the factory honda lip kit, i guess it was optional when buy the car new, i dont like it so took it off now theres double sticky tape stuck on the bumpers and sides i dont know what i should use to get rid of the double sticky tape??

3M Adhesive remover ($10 at autozone i know) and a razor blade or...
Windex and a razor blade.
Take the razor blade and hold it at an angle and squirt whatever you use on the glue or whatever.
Put the razor to the bumper and lightly scrub in a back and forth direction. DO NOT FORCE THE BLADE TO DO ANYTHING. Just lightly work the blade. Change areas of the tape if need be as some directions will make it come of easier. Have fun.

heat gun and rub with finger till all that is left is adhesive. then use adhesive remover on a rag and rub away. follow with soap and water to get the adhesive remover off. do not use a blade, you will damage your car

I would try Goo Gone, and let it soak.

this is probably what i would do - heat gun or hair dryer and fishing line or dental floss to lift off as much as possible. don't heat the paint up too much, just get it hot enough to soften the adhesives. and then use prep sol on a clean short nap towel or paper towel to remove the remainder, then clean, polish, clean and protect.

goo gone and wd-40 would probably work as well but i'm sketchy about using such oil rich solvents on the latest clear coats.

try a cleaning product called "awesome" its in a clear spray bottle with yellow liquid inside. it will do the trick.

yeah true, but the bottle has instructions on how to dilute it. 50/50 works find for most finishes, its better to mix it a little stronger than recommended, i found the recommended mixtures to be a little weak. 100% pure works great on engine blocks.
