How did you get rid of the rust off. Was it just with the wd40 and brushing it off?

WD40 is a solvent, so this really should not surprise anyone... results look great though.

I know WD-40 is solvent but it's also fish oil from what I understand (to displace water). I would think the residue of oil would be a dirt magnet and without a degreaser afterwords......

You get the idea. One dirt road later.....
