I will ALSO include:

- HKS B series cast manifold
BNITB manifold long & short stud bolts, washers & nuts...(bought from OG Flamenco_T aka Stan when we first started his business in 03-04 Fast-Turbo.com

* I can include GSR, LS or D16a6 untapped oil pan for extra money.

History:
I bought this in 2003 and from honda-tech member in FL. It had only 3,000 miles and I had the member take it to a well known honda-tech member/tuner to inspect before shipping it to me.

Apexi released this kit for the D series in 2 forms:
a) turbo kit with out FMIC = $3200
b) turbo kit with Apexi Skyline FMIC & extra charge piping $3800

But it was way over priced compared to greddy kits 15G kits that were $2100 (no FMIC) & $2600 with FMIC. The kit is now discontinued. Over the past 7years I've only personally known & talked to 5 people who had this kit, & driven in 2 cars with this kit.

I sold the D manifold and sourced out a rare HKS B series cast manifold
If you think this turbo it too small for B series applications, think again.
Apexi made a B18c turbo kit with different manifold and same turbo in Japan, you can still order the kit online at Nopi & other import parts websites but it's $3,600

It make more power than greddy 15G kit, spools faster than greddy 18G kit but not as expensive.
Peiku made:
210whp & 185tq on stock d16z6 @ 10psi. (had zex cam only)
glagola1 made:
238whp and 226tq on stock LS 10psi
268whp and 247tq on stock LS 14psi
integlspwr2k made:
250whp and 175tq on stock b16a2 at 10psi
On a stock gsr it should make:
230whp & 175tq @ 7psi
265whp & 205tq @ 10psi
280whp & 220tq @ 14psi

turbo magazine review:
http://www.turbomagazine.com/tech/01...kit/index.html
(dynapack#)
171whp & 132tq @ 5.5psi on stock D16z6 (FMU & NO FMIC)
187whp & 141tq @ 5.5psi on stock D16z6 (FMU & with Apexi Skyline FMIC kit)

Full boost @ 10psi on D16 is 3900rpms
Full boost @ 10psi on B16 is 4200rpms
Full boost @ 10psi on LS is 2800rpms

I bought it for $1,350 shipped & HKS manifold for $250 shipped
old price was $900 shipped.... new price is $1,200 shipped

The only thing you need for this to work on your EG/EF/EK B or D series is:
1) EMS - crome free
2) I would ditch the inline fuel pump and get $79 walbro 255lph pump because they are not as noisy/annoying & you won't have to mount it in the engine bay like you would the inline pump.
3) sell the hks for $200 and get a Ebay cast Dseries T25 manifold for $100
(better design than greddy or apexi)

4) FMIC, ebay/mishimoto/godspeed/ect will work just fine $80-130 is more than enough for under 300whp

The rust is very light because my garage has humidity. I can be brush it off very easily. notice the top side got a little rust/ironoxide cause it's made of cast iron lol
but the bottom doesn't since the humidity can't "settle" on it.

Also notice the divided flange compared to Greddy Bseries cast manifold it's just all lumped up together.

How the Apexi D16 kit is advertised

Apexi GSR kit for sale in Japan
Notice same turbo, down pipe & cast elbow

yes sir.... those where the good old days before people could really learn how to tune will with hondata, crome, neptune, aem, ect...

Currently with just upgraded rods/piston on stock gsr sleeves I wouldn't hesitate to push 450whp all day long at the track. But hey, I consider myself pretty conservative.

If your looking for under 300whp
This kit will provide you the most power "under the curve" than any supercharge kit or turbo (t28, t3, 18G, 16G). The p13 powerband on a B18 is probably closest to a GT28 (not the GT2871RS)

yeah but you also have to take into account the pros:

+ better than greddy 15g or 18g kit
+ only 3,000 miles
+ ac/ps friendly
+ already come with injectors & hks manifold (the kit did not include it)
+ mint & only missing FMIC & EMS to make it complete
+ New it sold for $3200 & i'm selling it with more items for a 1/3 of the cost... thats like buying skunk2 cams for $600 & reselling them for $200..(hell of a deal)

And the con:
- turbo only makes about 280-300whp at max
- the only cheaper kit that has this quailty is maybe a used Drag III kit
- you could make yourself a "home made kit" for about the same amount - but has no branding

the down pipe is connected to the "cast elbow" in the picture above
the cast elbo is bolted to the 5 blot exhaust side.

The HKS manifold vs. the Apexi D manifold are nearly idential, the hks actually sits a little taller therefore, the turbo would hang 3-5mm lower... but it's not any issue what so ever since this same kit was use on EG with B16 & LS with no modifyed to the down pipe or cast elbow.

Sorry about that, I definatly understand your confusion on the price. My appologies. $1,200 shipped is the new price

Let me try and explain my thought process.

1)
I originally bought the kit because it was posted for $1,450 shipped. I offered him $1,350 and it sold in a matter of 4-5hrs on the FS thread he posted it. I jumped on it because I knew it was a killer deal. And now i'm passing on even a better deal to someone who wants to use it on their B series motors (hks manifold) for cheaper.

It went up because, In never really took every thing out of the box.
When i got it, I only inspected the turbo and that was it. It was inspected by a well recognized h-tech member and tuner in FL, he said everything was there and when I got, I didn't even lay it out to admire. I did sell the FMU right away. The HKS manifold I sold months later after I found one for sale here on honda-tech.

2)
Because of how complete it was and how great that p13 turbin spinned so smoothly, I felt that if I didn't get atleast $1,500. When I made my 1st thread, I totally forgot it came with inline fuel pump, extended o2 wiring harness, and the instructions. Not to mention I'm including DMS injectors & resitor box. I'd drept of having this kit on my GSR for the past 7yrs but after talking with TheShodan (off and on over the past 3yrs) he conviced me because I know more (cars/turbo/ect) now then I did back in 2003-2004, in a sense I've already outgrown 300whp applications. I waited too long to use it and now 280-300whp just seems too low for me. Not sure if that makes sense or not. But I totally agree.

3) If I didn't get $1,150 for the kit, it would not be worth it for me to part ways with it.
I could probably just slap on the turbo kit, tune it and post up dyno charge and the kit would sell with much less effort.

4)
You know what I mean by that feeling of passing something on & never have used it?
I'm sure if I used it I wouldn't mind letting it go for cheaper. But hey, I guess I had a change of heart after I cleaned up everything & laid out the complete kit. Haha and the instruction booklet was pricless... 18 pages of how to install every little nipple, bolt & gasket...

5)
Show me a minter greddy 18G kit & as complete for this price and I'll match it.
This turbo is good up to nearly 280whp. 18G are good up to 350whp ma. I don't compare it to the Greddy 15G kit because the most power i've seen on that tiny blower on a LS motor was 230whp & that's with the internal WG welded and using a different manifold with a external WG with the turbo screaming for it's dear life @ 17psi That's why I said in my thread:
"smaller & faster spool than 15G & not as expensive as the 18G."

All I can do it tell you as much as I know about the kit and what my plans are/were.
If you want it, Great! if not I completely understand.
$1,200 shipped is the new price
