Default Weber carb fuel-economy testimonials?

I'm thinking of putting a Weber 32/36 on a 1983 Civic Wagon with the 1.5 liter and manual tranny. I'd rather get real-life testimonies from people who have actually changed to a Weber instead of relying on advertising claims. Do these carbs actually increase fuel economy? I don't care about power, only gas usage. The 1983 Civic has the CVCC motor with the original 3-barrel carb. Thanks!

If you have a light foot, the better breathing carb may save a small amount of fuel over the OEM carb. But you may be tempted to use more of this carb's capabilitites and sample the extra power better breathing produces.

Sure-fire ways to improve fuel economy is to pump up your tires, tune the engine, replace the air filter, get the extra crap (weight) out of your car and drive slower.

My 32/36 on my 84 Accord, with 12-valve CVCC engine got about the same mileage before and after. I didn't really notice any change. My 81 Accord with a Weber gets about 28/33mpg. The 81 is a closer motor to yours, being 8-valve CVCC, just larger displacement.
