Default Official Classic Honda's picture thread

Well we need a place to put random pictures of the Classic Honda thread all in one place. Post any pics of your car or any other good pictures of pre-88 Hondas and this follows the same rules as the CH thread. This should be tagged at the top very shortly. This should cut down on some of the "this is my car" posts.

Ill start with a couple of my 87 Civic Si...

My Honda 600's that I regret the **** out of selling...

My 1981 Accord, which I have driven from Southern California to British Columbia. It goes everywhere and hauls everything!

My 1984 Accord, which I have driven to Hell and back. I've put nearly 200,000 miles on it myself, and they're all HARD driven miles. This engine never stops running. 308,000 on it now, and I drive it hard every day. The ES/ET and A series have to be the best motors Honda has ever made.

Only one problem...."classic" is pre-1983. Not 1988. CRXs have a few years to go to be considered classic cars.

Here is my input (my car)...

A "Classic" Honda is generally considered anything before 1988.

Here is my 1987 CRX Si featuring a Mugen Inspired rear spoiler from http://www.heeltoeauto.com

A "classic" is considered anything before 1983. I run into people all the time that want to change the definition of "classic" so that it includes their own car. Everyone I get into a "discussion" with always wants to add a year after their car so it would try to include theirs. If I talk to someone with an 89 Accord, they'll say anything before the 90s. If they have an 85, they'll say 86.

But popular definition (and the state looks at it this way) says that (this year) 1983 is the cut off year.

I do agree with how everyone wants their car to be included in the category but the truth is time keeps rolling forward which makes it in my opinion more viable to have anything older than 87 a "classic" I mean it is a 21 year old car! But classics on this forum have been defined as pre-88...
Keeps the pics coming and I hope to have my 83 up soon!

EXACTLY! That's why this year, it is 1983. Next year, 1984 will be included. The year after, 1985 and so on. No one said anything about 1983 being it forever. The USA recognizes classic cars as 25 years old.

That thing is in great shape, dude. My first car was a 1983 Civic HB It was a 1300, though. Then I had an 83 wagon. I miss that car a lot. It was on the ground with rims that stuck out the side of the car, lolol.

Here is my 1983 Honda Civic 1500 S with only 140k on the clock:

Plans are some new black paint hopefully in February, new Weber carb this winter, either some Axis Oldskool 15x8 rims or something else on Falken Azenis, new KYB shocks all around, new exhaust, and crossing my fingers on some F1 bucket seats with harnesses. Auto X / beater in the making
