is it expensive to rebuild a carburetor?

You might want to ask in the pre-88 honda forum. None of the cars on this forum use a carburator...in the US.

He is in the pre-88 forum. As for the rebuilding of a carb I have heard that it can get pretty expensive, like in the +$200 range. But that just what I've heard

Ah, not really. Rebuild kits are pretty cheap typically.

If you DIY then it will be cheap because you don't have to pay for labor.
