I have an 82 EK1 hatchback accord, with a Weber Carb.

I would like to remove all unnecessary vacuum lines.

I do not have to pass emissions.

I have bored out the cat and plan on straight piping with a quiet muffler and no resonators or cat.

I can post pics if necessary.

I would really like to remove the air cleaner and use an open air style with little to no vacuum lines. I already have a k+N installed.

Standard Federal emissions, not California model or anything.

At the end of the day, all you may need is the vacuum advance for the distributor and the power brake booster line.

You may want to hang on to the evaporative emmisions canister. I am not sure what will happen in the gas tank if you disconnect it.

There should be a decal under the hood that outlines where everything goes. Study it.

If you get rid of the canister, it won't hurt anything, just smell your garage up when you pull in and shut the car off, since you'll have the vent tube from the gas tank open.

But yes that guy is right, if you have the Weber on your car, throw all that other **** away. You only need vacuum for the distributor, and the brake booster. If you have cruise control, you'll need vacuum for that too.

Thanks for your input, I will get right on that as soon as I finish soldering wires ..

Had a slight overheating of my wiring harness.. its fixed now, but since there was no break away point I had to cut the wiring harness by the pass fender.

Now I have to solder on the other end of the obd1 connectors I put on.

Oh also don't forget to hook up the vacuum to the HVAC system, or your vents won't work.

Yes I did say OBDI.

I cut the wiring harness under the pass fender. I used spare OBDI connectors to connect it back together.

Genius I thought.

I geting a 85 prelude it has a lot of lines to what ones can Iget rid of idont need all there hoses it looks likke a big mess with all them hoses going every where. It makes ur head want to pop lol
