1986 Accord w/FI. The car will always start when cold. When excelorating from stoplight it sometimes stalls. Also, after driving and then turning off the car it will not restart until the car sits for awhile (up to 2 hours). The mechanic can not seem to replicate the problem at the shop. New coil, distributor, idle sensor, fuel pump relay.

TW Sensor, I bet. You probably have the same thing I had happen to my 89. Check the two sensors on top of the thermostat housing. The wires broke off of both of those sensors on mine. Got new plugs at the wrecking yard and connected them up.
Do you have a check engine light? You should read for codes, it will confirm.

Did you replace the fuel pump relay yourself? That is a very common problem, and used ones tend to also be bad.
