What fuse to use?
I've got a Escort 8500 x50 and ive got a hardwire kit on the way. It comes with a fuse tap, so what fuse should I tap into? I didn't know if one was better than the other.

I'd just pull the radio and wire into the accessory wire behind it... or tag the switched power wire going to your cigarette lighter

I've thought about that but I already have a GPS plugged into the cig lighter in addition to 3 gauges.
So, what fuse should I tap into on the interior? I just want to see if there is one better than the other.

Your under dash fuse box should have a "2nd ign." free-pin... http://cgi.ebay.ca/94-95-96-97-HONDA...item3f0b679865 the 3 terminals to the left of the fuses are free-pins, one will be "hot" only when key is in run position.

I ended up using the radio motor antenna fuse. The 96-97 Accord don't have an antenna that rises up like the 94-95. It works great!
Do you think I need to put an inline fuse in it? It is not fused other than the fuse it is tapped into.
