Transitional Windows for Cars???
Some friends and I are exploring the idea of having transitional windows for cars. Instead of the traditional tinted windows (ie permanent tints), transitional windows allow the window to darken upon contact with direct sunlight.
Crazy idea?
Good idea?
Bad idea?
What do you think?

Already in the works. I read a while back. that there is a company that's working on transitional automobile glass using small electric currents.

the only issue I could see with using the traditional "glasses" type transistion is if at one moment it's really sunny as hell, and then a cloud rolls over the sun. The transistion time would have to be pretty good or it's gonna be pretty dark to the person driving (granted it will depend on how dark the "tint" becomes)
