Why doesn't my Factory honda cd player play cd's I made from mp3 files? Every other car I try the cd's in plays the damn cd's except for my car. Even my dads 1990 cd player plays the cd's, mines a 1998.

It may be the brand of CDR media you are using. I hear some brands don't work well. Try Imation, that definitely works.

i've tried them all. imagition, sony, memorex,GQ, umm and about 5 more but they dont' work in my car.....everyone elses I try they work great. Mine is the only factory honda cd player though.

Try CDR Audio cd's
Some cd player won't play cdr's they will play cdr audio's. They cost more though.

hmm that sounds kinda wierd if your dads older car will play it but yours wont.. try burning at a slower speed.. TDK Music CD-R's definately worked on my gf's prelude before the deck broke... i use to burn at 8X w/o problems playin in her car.. i now have a 24X but we upgraded the head unit w/ aftermarket so i dunno
