Re: stereo works but no sound (little dx that could)
Need more info...
MM&Y of car.
Make and model of HU, [stereo].
Did you use an adapter harness or is the HU "hard wired", [stock radio plug cut off and new HU wiring connected to OEM radio wiring]?
Is all the wiring stock, [speaker wiring]?
Is the new HU new or used?
Are the speakers stock or have they been replaced with aftermarket speakers?
Do you have amps? 94

First thing I would do is test for shorted speaker or speaker lead, shorted speaker terminals is common with aftermarket speakers in Honda/Acura doors.
If any one of the 8 speaker leads or terminals is shorted to ground, [or each other] the HUs protection circuit will turn off the internal amp.
To test you will need a multimeter, test for continuity to ground on each speaker lead, [HU unplugged], you can also try fading all the way to the rear speakers and all the way to the left or right, so only one speaker is on at a time, then turn HU on, try it with each speaker.
I would also check to see if your HU has the option to turn off the internal amp, [used when off board amps are used].
To test the HU you can connect the speaker outputs to a known working speaker, [one set of outputs at a time]. 94

do you have acoustic research markings on the speaker covers....if so power the amp turn on
edit: if you used a harness connect your blue and white off the pioneer to the blue wire on the harness....
