Stereo resets everytime car turns off! Need help !!
Sorry for the noob question, guys. This is my first time messing with car audio, so I'm learning as I go along. My Alpine IVA-D900's wire harness obviously has a yellow wire and a red wire. Does one go to the battery and the other to constant power? And if so, which is which and which goes where? Thnx for helping a noob in need.

Yellow wire goes to constant 12v. The red wire goes to Accessory(12v when the ignition switch is turned on). What car is this going in to and why don't you just buy the install harness for you car?

Well when I had it installed the first time, I think the guy cut the original stereo harness plug off and wired everything one wire at a time. I worked fine until some *** ripped it out of my car. Luckily my neighbors saw him and kick the **** out of him, but none the less I still need to rewire it. On an integra, it says that the yellow w/red wire is the battery and the white /blue wire is supposed to be constant power for tuning memory. That's where I'm stuck.

Yo, props the ol boy 94_DC4, guy REALLY knows his stuff. If anyone needs anything car audio related, hit em up. He looked at my problem and just laughed at it, rewired my whole setup in no time, and now it works better than ever. Also big up to Desmon, thnx for the wiring diagram, and I'll be hitting you up hopefully sooner than later about replacing my car alarm, from what I hear you're the man in SoCal. Thnx again guys.
