Default Sound deadening

Hey guys I recently used fatmat to cover the rear interior of my 94 civic prior to installing a custom rear interior delete. I want it to be real nice and quiet after its all said and done. Is there any recommendations for anythingelse I can use to quiet things down? Possibly a fabric such as felt or an insulation that be used over the fat mat? The fatmat itself doesnt seem like it will suffice for a quiet ride with just the custom delete.

Fatmat as a great start but to finish the job you need some Sound absorber and sound isolator. I used the below products in my build and could hear a noticeable difference as soon as the car started after the install.

I used the sound absorber on wheel wells only. I plan on doing door panels as well
Sound Absorber ? Silent Coat UK

Isolator on the floor only
Noise Isolator ? Silent Coat UK

This stuff is super easy to install comes with adhesive backing all you need is a pair of scissors or utility knife. Big Difference in sound quality. Will post pictures later

Another +1 on using dynamat though it is expensive and can add a lot of weight to your ride.

Watch some youtube videos on how to install the stuff. You only need it where the metal is thin and will vibrate. Putting blanket of dynamat is a waste of time and will add 200lbs. You DO want to look into other peel and stick products that absorb high frequency sounds like road noise, and that product you do want to use like a blanket.
