should i trade my kicker L5 12 for punch P2?
i had 2 tens that were bangin sounding really good crips bass but then one blew. so i got a 12 solo baric L5 kicker for cheap 80 bux but i put it a super small crappy enclosed box.
its sounds OK but reason i wanna trade for punch p2s is because their a pair and easier to push my l5 is a single. do you guys think its a good trade? my amp is a precision power dcx500.1 2 chanel i paid 375 for amp but only 500 watts.
the p2s any good?

Did you get the 2 or the 4 ohm L5?
If it is the dual 2ohm you can wire it in series to get your 500watts.
Those P2s are dual 2ohm. If you got both of them you would only be able to run 125w to each of them which means you'd need a new amp if you really wanted them that bad.
I'd keep the L5 and throw it in a bigger box. Probably ported. Although it's not really a good match for the amp either. It's rated for 600wrms.

You could get 2 4ohm DVC and wire each sub's VCs in series. Or two 2ohm SVC and wire each one to a separate channel. These would all need to be rated at 250rms or less though. This would be a better solution. Unless you want to sell the amp and start over.
