I have never heard of those brands. But i trust your judgement. I think an audio shop around where I live have a sub and amp combo for like 130 or 140. I believe it's kenwood. But im not sure I'll have to check again. Thanks a lot bro for the info

also what gauge wire do you recommend?

That's because they aren't carried by the big box stores like Best Buy, Frys, Hhgreg, etc. You can use 8 gauge for what you are going to be using now, but if you plan on upgrading down the line and going with more power, I would suggest going ahead and use 4 gauge now so that you don't have to upgrade your equipment AND wire.
