Default Parrot CK3100 bluetooth volume problem

does anybody have this bluetooth kit? i really like the features that it has but i'm having some trouble with a few things:

1.) when making calls, the noise is only comming from the 2 front speakers. (i know all wires are hooked up because it mutes all 4 speakers during the calling process, but when the caller speaks, it only comes out of the 2 front speakers)
2.) when adjusting the volume, contrast and all that good stuff in the settings, it works fine, but when i turn off the car and turn it back on, it resets. i double checked that the ignition wire and memory wire are both hooked up.
3.) when making calls, the noise comming from the speakers is very low, i could bearly hear them talking when driving, even with the volume set at high.

can anybody help me with these? have any personal experience with this device? i've already tried emailing parrot technical support but they never email back...any input would be appreciated! thanks!

1) That's the way it is designed. It's not supposed to send audio out the rear speakers during a call. Do you really want the voice coming from the rear also? This affects rear passengers as well as echo cancellation in the microphone. It could probably be rigged-around, but is it necessary?

2) Sounds like a bad constant wire, or a bad unit. Are you sure it is getting constant to the right wire? Where did you tap in the car, and what wire did you use from the parrot? I know their manual says try switching these wires (at the fuse).

3) Never experienced that problem. Could be a bad unit? If the volume is all the way up you should be able to hear them... what is it like when the car is stopped?

As for reaching Parrot, you should try calling them.

Hope that helps.

did you use the optional vehicle specific harness for the car?
if not check the connections to make sure they are going the right way (the unit should not "reset" if everything is wired correct)

i used the orange wire for my constant. and the red wire for the positive 12V power. all the wires are tapped into my existing radio harness. and i did not use the optional specific vehicle harness, i just tapped everything myself. what do you mean by switching the wires at the fuse? do you mean hooking up the vehicle constant wire to the red instead of orange? as for the volume problem. i can hear them fine when the car is stopped, but just not as loud as i would figure. it's even worse when the car is driving because of road noises also.
