Most Effective sound deadening location??
i own a fit, and im thinking about buying some sound deadening material. my question is, where is the best or most effective place to lay that **** down? i heard that the spare tire well is a good start, but how about the doors, or how about the whole floor for that matter? has anyone had better luck with one of these more than the other?

I would concentrate on where your speakers are located more then anything else. If you have a sub use your sound deadening in the doors where the speakers are located and in the spare tire location. People get crazy with this sound deadening ****, but I've always had my best experience placing it where the sound is located.

what is your goal? to reduce rattles? if so then apply it where it's rattling, and to what is rattling. if you're looking to seal areas like doors, then the whole outer skin and then seal off the inner door skin to seal it off. it all depends on the application and the over all goal.
